My friend and co-worker Mike has started a blog (or probably more accurately, renewed his blogging efforts): i like ellipses… He laughs because he focuses on two somewhat unrelated topics: UI and Security. But he knows and enjoys them both, and it shows. I’ve really enjoyed his posts–they have been very insightful and well thought [...]

I’m in the process of moving my blog from Blogger to WordPress, and I’m finding out just how important a project like BlogML really is. Most blog engines will integrate with a select few other engines to allow importing/exporting. What we really need is something just like BlogML – a standard format describing blog metadata [...]

I’ve updated the template for my blog – I’m starting with this, and will be tweaking it over time. Thanks to styleshout for posting some good free templates! It makes a world of difference to me to have a good starting point vs. starting from scratch. Especially in terms of the amount of time it [...]

It seems there have been a lot of posts recently about the difficulty of finding the right person for software development jobs. Or maybe I’m just tuned in to those posts because there are some openings on my team right now (here is a job listing for one of them) and we’re having difficulty with [...]

I just updated the autodiscovery links for my blog to point to my feedburner feed source. I know there’s probably 0-2 people reading my posts (me included) but if you’ve subscribed to my feed, please re-subscribe using this new URL: http://feeds.feedburner.com/aaronlerch Thanks!

I spent some Christmas money and now have my own website. (I got frustrated enough with the lack of good-quality free services on the web–not including blogger, of course!) http://www.aaronlerch.com/blog/ If you’re viewing from that URL, welcome! If you’re not, please update any links you might have (yeah right) and head on over…
