I have no idea how people like Raymond Chen or Scott Hanselman (to name just 2 of many, many people) can do the work they do, blog like they do and still maintaining a family, and a life outside of all that. What are your secrets? Actually, I suspect much of the reason, and something I still have to learn, is working smart not hard. That comes with experience, and I’m looking forward to the day I can look back and enjoy my own hard earned experience…
Things have been extremely busy at work, but when the load lightens a little I have plans to do some posts on using the Managed DirectX APIs for recording audio, as well as some other posts on creating an Office add-in; specifically a Smart Tag. I’ll present a small “Smart Tag framework” that hopefully you can extend with your own functionality very easily. The Visual Studio Tools for Office are very nice!
